| What : Teaching and Open Source Software "I teach several Engineering courses at the UofA where the software tools used are primarily free/open source. Python, Linux, gcc, Firefox. In my talk I'll give an overview of these courses, both from the perspective of how OSS makes my teaching life easier, better, and how some of the students react to some of the tools."
