What:	The Linux Desktop: The Next Generation Exciting things are happening on the Linux desktop. Novell's developers are behind many of them. In this talk/demo I'll show off a beta version of Novell's SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10, including -- Xgl and compiz: a GPU accelerated, composited desktop for Linux/X (a.k.a., EYE CANDY) -- Beagle desktop search -- NetworkManager autoconfiguration of wireless and wired networks -- Banshee music player -- F-Spot photo viewer Plus: -- Firefox 3 - A Sneak Peak
