If you signup at http://www.linux.net.nz/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aucklug you get a password which allows you to make some changes to your account. If you then go to http://www.linux.net.nz/cgi-bin/mailman/options/aucklug/[append-your-email-address-here] as one long url, after logging in, there is an option to disable sending of mail from the aucklug mailing list. In effect that *should* allow you to have a "post only" account. -Joel > > Liz > > On Thu, 16 Jun 2005 21:03, Mark Foster wrote: > >>The AuckLUG Mailing list is now alive and kicking. >> >>Aucklanders (and others interested) are invited to join us: >> >>http://www.linux.net.nz/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/aucklug >> >>With immediate effect NZLUG will cease holding Auckland based regular >>meetings, as this is within the sphere of the Auckland regional list >>AuckLUG. >> >>AuckLUG is however fully endorsed by NZLUG - as are all the other regional >>LUGs. >> >>Auckland based Linux events, support requests, and general discussion on >>Linux and related topics are welcome on AuckLUG and this will allow NZLUG >>to again be an All-of-New-Zealand based forum. >> >>A website is to come, yet to be arranged... one thing at a time. >> >>Thanks >>Mark. >> >>------------------------------------------------------------------- >>To remove yourself from this list, email nzlug-request@linux.net.nz >>with "unsubscribe" in the body of the message. > > ------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, email nzlug-request@linux.net.nz with "unsubscribe" in the body of the message.
