Hello, Would any kind soul on the list be confident or kind enough to talk someone through the pros and cons of implimenting linux in a school environment. My boss found out I use linux at home and has given me the contact details of a business manager (a friend of hers) of a high school in the Auckland region who are thinking about linux. I'm not the best person to put forward the strongest or most balanced view as I am only a home user ... I know nothing about network or security etc etc. I don't want her first impression to be a person simply saying "I don't know" to every second ... All she is looking for is someone to ask some questions to ... either via phone or e-mail ... Can anyone help ! Please ! Feel free to contact me off list if required ...
