What if you pull the cat5 through the same underground duct that
currently has your telco's twisted copper in it?

On our 10 acre block we currently have a trench going from the house
to a shed about 160m away. About a meter deep is has a water main.
The trench is now filled to about 1/2 a meter deep.

Could cat5 comms be safely laid from the house to the shed (not that
there's any need for a computer in the shed).

In other words: Does burying the cat5 cable remove the dangers discussed in
this thread?
