Cool. But if you want a cheaper option (depending on how thirsty your
download appetite is), as Phil C said, he's been using Ultra for three years
now on Linux. I think their rates start at $35 p/mth (Disclaimer: I use
three ISPs, so am not pushing IHug).

If you've waited this long, maybe wait a bit longer (don't know how much
longer though) for the Walker|Vodafone deal to rock into town. With their
new Wireless Broadband trials, speeds achieved were (apparently) up to 3Mbps
download and 1Mbps upload. And you don't need line of sight to a
transmission tower to use it. Not needing a phone line either is an added
bonus!
