Please excuse the bad ASCII art.
Essentially, when you login to Jetstream games, your traffic
traverses a different virtual circuit. The Jestream games
virtual circuit has no rate limiting on it, the one to IPNet
will still be set to rate-limit your port (even though you
can't route data to it at the time).

So logging into Jetstream games does not cause a real time
change to your rate-limiting, it simply routes around it.
Disclaimer: I do not work for Telecom and this information
was all found in the public domain. And as always there is
