Hi Eaden - thanks for this :-) I was hoping there would be an easy way to create my own 'knoppix' type CD with just what I want on it.. BTW - has anyone managed to use Gnome with the Knoppix CD (knoppix desktop=gnome)? It boots up fine, but seems to hang before loading the gnome stuff (like panel etc), leaving you with an empty desktop.
